To meet the requirements of quality education, our country is carrying on the reform of basic education. Under the new course background, biology curriculum standard of high school has brought great challenges to the teaching and learning of biology. Experimental teaching has become an important way of learning. At the same time, experimental activities have significantly increased. The characteristics of biology determine that more experimental teaching is a indispensable way to develop students biological science literacy. Experimental teaching ability of teachers greatly affects the results of experimental teaching. So it becomes an important issue that how to improve the biological experimental teaching ability of students in higher normal universities.The research adopts literature analysis, giving a new interpretation to the ability of biology experimental teaching. And use questionnaires which in combination with inheritance and innovation, and new interviews outline. Questionnaire survey to study the six provinces, a total of 21 cities of 171 biology teachers in secondary school, to find out difficulties in experimental teaching, to investigate the main way to form their experimental teaching ability and the present status of the ability. Interview with teachers having different teaching experience. Questionnaire survey to study 268 students major in biology in guangzhou university who are the biology teachers in the future. Interview seven of them and four who were graduated in 2014 and 2015 from guangzhou university major in biology. The investigation including the current college students' experiment ability, experimental curriculum and teaching, the present situation of the experimental teaching ability, the experiment teaching practice, etc. Find out the main difficulties in the experiment teaching of the graduate students and so on.Main findings of the research in biology teachers of secondary school: the top three difficulties encountered in the experiment teaching are experiment equipment, experimental materials and preparation, the most important way to form Experimental teaching ability is after school by self teaching. the system study is by the preemployment way, actual levels of ability of teachers in experiment teaching can not meet the expectations. They can't work well in experiment inquiry teaching of the new curriculum. They said it is necessary to set up undergraduate specialized courses to develop students' ability to experiment teaching.Main findings of study in biology students: "the implementation of the experimental steps" and " the analysis of experimental phenomena and data " is the most significant two difficulties for students in experiment study, Improper connection Between theory and practice may be the main reason. Students feedback on the experiment teaching that it could be more diversified. There is a big deviation between the understanding of experimental teaching ability and the new curriculum requirements. Lower levels of the experimental ability and experimental teaching ability are normal due attention, while higher levels of ability index is far from be valued, the weakest in the three kinds is experimental study ability which is consistent. in all grades, and it is also very different. The experimental teaching research ability of the weakest between the other two types are very significant difference, college students get inequality of opportunity to practice in experiment teaching and the type of experiments that professor is very single. "the management of teaching discipline " is the main difficulty in the practice, and they hope to get more practical training. In a word, for lack of theoretical study and inadequate practice in pre-service, may lead to bad development of experimental teaching ability to students,and have lost momentum.The studies suggest that higher normal universities should develop biological experiment teaching method course to enhance students experimental teaching ability on the theory and practice. It involves the establishment of curriculum objectives, selection of teaching contents, curriculum conducted mode, teaching methods and assessments.
