| Since the 1960 s, geographic information system(GIS), with its powerful spatial analysis capability, has already been widely used in many areas, such as population, resources, ecology, environment and sustainable development research. Geography as a discipline in high school, which is the only study of man and nature, sustainable development and other issues.GIS technology as a means of geography teaching and tools,students can develop the ability to practical application of geographic information technology, improve students’ thinking ability and geographic literacy, and better able to improve the quality of teaching high school geography.In this paper, through literature collection and collation analysis, we found that the high school geography focused on the introduction of the GIS theoretical geography teaching and auxiliary teaching software design, but it lacks of binding to the case of high school geography teaching content design and development,which I selected research direction of this paper. Using of information technology law and case law,according to the theoretical basis of GIS in geography teaching, as well as to the basic functions and capabilities of GIS to support education, high school human geography content as the starting point, making a typical case — "Industrial location choice" of production example, according to the final design step devises "urbanization",in order to sort out the steps to a complete set of high school geography teaching cases based on the basic functions of GIS design and development,in order to point out the direction for the middle school geography puzzled educators exploring in the forward, at the same time making a solid foundation for following human geography researchers who will use GIS in the actual teaching.Thesis innovation is reflected in: 1. To select and summarize the teaching contents of human geography teaching in senior high school, which is suitableto use GIS technology to carry on the teaching,the design and development of the teaching content which can be applied to the corresponding GIS function is proposed; 2.The combination of GIS technology and high school humanistic geography teaching conforms to the characteristics of human geography and the need of the development of information technology era,The detailed steps of the design of a teaching case based on GIS’s "industrial location choice",and it can design and develop the teaching cases based on the similar functions of GIS for the first line teachers;3. Based on the design steps, the teaching case design of "urbanization" is completed,demonstrate the use of design and production steps,at the same time, the two case itself is based on the specific teaching case design GIS technology contributed to a force. |
