In recent years, graduate employment difficulty has become a obvious issue such as the job issue and the employment quality. The deep cause of this is the emplo yments' ability.This study uses literature analysis, methods of half open questionnaire survey an d telephone interview by adopting the combination of qualitative and quantitative re search methods, to the mental health class professional degree master's employment capacity requirements in terms of investigation and study, based on the theory of core competence and ability quality model theory, build the mental health class specialized degree graduate student employment core competitiveness model.Conclusions of this research are as followed:(1) The connotation of the mental health class master's employment core comp etitiveness, namely the mental health class master shown after job searching and empl oyment in line with the psychological teaching jobs ability demand, the integration of a variety of personal ability and quality.(2)According to the survey of the demand for mental health class master's employ ment, some units show great attention on employees' professional ability, teaching abi lity, learning ability and problem solving ability development.(3) Mental health class master's employment core competence model has seven di mensions, including professional ability, teaching ability, interpersonal relations, pr oblem solving, psychological quality, professional identity development and learnin g ability.
