Since the 21 st century, with the development of modern information technology, people's reading style has gradually transformed from the traditional paper reading to digital reading. Digital reading mainly reflects on these aspects: Reading content has transformed from the traditional printed text into e-book, digital images, video audio, animation and other kinds of digital content; In terms of reading tools, the knowledge map tools simulate the human thinking process, and build complex knowledge structure network, thereby saving the space and time of peoples' memory, thinking and knowledge representation of, making the digital reading have many advantages which traditional tools cannot reach; In terms of reading environment, network environment provides readers with rich information resources, let the reader place themselves in the information ocean, free to choose information. In addition, digital reading has the characteristics of convenience, easy to save and to modify, which make it even more become a mainstream way of reading nowadays.On reading habits, however, the digital way did not bring much change, on the contrary made people form bad reading habits including skimming over the surface, impatienting for success, satisfied with a smattering of knowledge in the long term etc., so that the information is lack of integrity, meaning is castrated.Therefore, in the digital age, some scholars put forward people to pick up deep reading. According to the previous statements, Starting from the characteristics of college students, this study formed the following questions: 1. What is the value of digital deep reading? 2. What are the constituent elements of digital deep reading model? 3. How to build college students' digital deep reading general model from a perspective of knowledge map, so as to enhance digital deep reading abilities?This article mainly used literature research method, through a large amount of digital deep reading literature at home and abroad, knew what was digital deep reading, and explored the value of it from the theoretical level; By comparing different scholars view of deep reading, extracted the constituent elements of digital deep reading model; According to the characteristics of college students, from the perspective of knowledge map, built a general model for digital deep reading of college students, and gave specific tool selection, operation method reference and case shows, thus improve college students' digital deep reading abilities, change their shallow reading habits.Through literature collection and analysis, this article draws the following conclusions: 1. Returning to deep reading is very important to the transformation of digital shallow reading; 2. Digital deep reading is a reading activity that readers use modern information technology tools including hardware equipments of MP4 / MP5, smartphone, IPad, computer etc. and softwares such as knowledge map, notation tools, to deeply analyze e-contents, and build a knowledge relationship structure network. From that concept, we extracted three components of digital deep reading model: reader, contents of reading and reading tools. 3. From the perspective of knowledge map, this paper put forward a general model of digital deep reading for college students, and a specific operation method to reference, in order to improve college students' digital deep reading abilities.
