With continuous progress in educational reform, the standard for quality education has been constantly elevated. How to develop a high-quality and high-brand school has been a critical question that confronts educators. School culture, serving as the core of education quality, is now attracting more and more attention. School culture includes material, institutional, behavioral, spiritual things, etc. In the process of building school culture, the numerous elements have a complicated interplay with each other. School behavioral culture construction is an intermediate between material and institutional building and spiritual construction, serving as a key link and a critical joint in school culture development.Dongsheng District, Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is an example of regional economical and social fast development in Midwest China. Likewise, its regional education has also enjoyed the same great leap forward development. The conditions for running a school, especially the financial conditions have been significantly improved. Schools in this region have commonly been faced with the urgent tasks of improving school education and promoting education brand. Again this general background, school culture construction has become outstandingly important. What is the effect of other schools' behavioral culture construction? Is there a regional common path to build the school behavioral culture? How to achieve common development among regional schools? These questions all constitute the starting point for this research. This paper, taking Dongsheng District as an example, where the writer is based makes analysis of the status quo of school behavioral culture construction by ways of literature review, interview, analysis, synthesis, summary and reflection. Based on the thinking about regional school behavioral culture construction, the writer aims to put forward suggestions from perspectives of awareness and methodologies, thus providing a way for school behavioral cultural researches.
