| Guangzhou,the Pearl River Delta region’s economic lifeline,adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao regions.Also is the concentrated processing service industry area in our countries.As reform and opening-up and urbanization countries to accelerate,a large number of farmers to urban city,population movements have a lot of change.“Single” from the 1980 s to “couple style” in early 21 st century,development to current “family moved” type of population movement.This change in the pattern of population movement spawned an urban special group,that migrant children.In recent years,the migrant children’s situations were outstanding.Brought new challenge to the local government and relevant departments’ management.Children are in a critical period of physical and mental development,especially the migrant children.They face more difficulties and challenges than other children when they living,learning and growing-up in flowing area.Such as,they lack the necessary care outside school,safety education and also not have guidance and education in extracurricular activities.That will cause and bring a series of social problems,even produce serious social harm in the future.This study referred to the theory about children in pedagogy,psychology and sociology.And use questionnaire investigation,interview method,literature research and field interviews to some migrant children and families,from H School Panyu district of Guangzhou.Developing research the current situation of the migrant children’s extracurricular activities in Guangzhou.As Guangzhou Lighthouse Plan,investigation the migrant children project operation.To help the migrant children to improve learning ability,living skill,urban adaptability.It is important that the migrant children be healthy and happy during growing-up.This article combined four main parts of perspectives such as individuals,families,schools and communities departments.Though the professional social work intervention,provide and carry out professional services,explore social work of migrant children’s extracurricular activities in practical research.Provided references to the local government and relevant departments.Based on this,advances the importance and necessity of professional social work intervention. |
