Research On The Employment Situation Of Normal University Students

The employment is the foundation of livelihood.During the process of studying the employment problems,we usually find so many contradictions.On the one hand,people who have college degrees only account for a small part in the labour market in our country,on the other hand,there exists the problem that it is hard for university graduates to find a job.The economy of our country is still in the growing phase,on the contrary,there goes the decreasing flexibility of employment.The competition of employment market is becoming more severe,while the altitude of university graduates is becoming more and more negative.For one thing,employers cannot find the suitable employees,for another thing,university graduates cannot find jobs,and so on.The employment problem of normal students influences not only their immediate interests and life happiness,but also the happiness of their families.In order to get an ideal job,normal students pay attention to all kinds of career fairs and teacher recruitment information.At the same time,parents try their best to help their children get an ideal job in such a competitive employment market.In fact,the normal students and their parents are not able to find an ideal job by all means successfully.In the background of our special nation conditions and fast growth economy,we need to analyze this problem combined with all aspects.And then we can come up with feasible plans correspondingly.Faced with such a serious employment situation,either normal students or teachers in universities should adjust themselves,set up reasonable goals,and make positive plans.The normal students are important human resources in our country's education cause.Superior teacher troops are the guarantee of superior education.If the normal students cannot satisfy the requirements of the teacher position of elementary education,it will surely cause the waste of educational finance and human resources.Through investigation there are some employment problems in the process of looking for a job: the narrowness of employment,the poor ability to work,the over focus on employers,the highlight of unemployment,the dishonest employment behaviors,the decline of teachers' profession self-identity and so on.This thesis analyses the reasons of these problems in the version of universities,normal students and employers.In the viewpoint of universities,there are some problems such as the unreasonable normal curriculum,the ignorance to nurture the comprehensive ability,the insufficience of guidance of employment,the lack of application of majors.In the viewpoint of normal students,there are some problems such as the misunderstanding of the employment concept,the negative job-seeking behaviors,the lack of comprehensive ability,the loss of good qualities.In the viewpoint of employers,there are some problems such as the lack of united employment information platform,the over pursuit of students from famous universities.In order to solve the employment problems,the cooperation among universities,normal students and employers is necessary.Universities should adjust the structure of curriculum according to majors,enhance the education of innovation and pioneering,pay more attention to the students' employment guidance,and nurture the teachers' profession self-identity of normal students.The normal students should transform their concept about employment,make a career plan,improve their comprehensive ability,enhance their good qualities and train the sense of devotion and social responsibility.The employers should enhance the long and steady cooperation with universities,enrich the ways of recruiting,set up scientific standard of recruiting and take social responsibility positively.
