China normal universities have changed their training mode from only cultivating normal students to cultivating both normal and non-normal students together.Then, non-normal students’ employment problem come into the research field of scholars.Recently,with enrollment expansion of colleges and the employment pressure increase, domestic scholars have studied the non-normal students’employment problem based on the human-capital theory,social-capital theory, the industrial structure theory, input-output theory,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions depending on the national policy, education mode in colleges and universities, students’skills.But the empirical study of the non-normal students employment quality is relatively few, especially fewer from the view of the labor market segmentation theory.So this research based on labor market segmentation theory, and invested the students’employment quality of local normal university students.This paper studied the employment quality characteristics of the local normal university students, analyzed the reasons that had caused the characteristics, finally presented countermeasures and Suggestions.The first part is the introduction.In this paper, a total of four parts,as follows:In this paper, a total of four parts.The first part is the introduction.This part mainly use the literature method to collect the information about the non-normal students’employment problem in local normal university.After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing research, we determine the research based on the theory of labor market segmentation.The second part is the empirical analysis.On the basis of building employment quality evaluation index system,We conducted questionnaire survey to local normal university students.Through the analysis the data of students employment quality,we found that the non-normal students’employment quality is worse than normal students’.The non-normal students’employment quality characteristics performance as follows:there was no significant difference between male and female in employment quality, the employment efficiency of both are close to the average;the common identity of graduates enjoy a higher employment quality in terms of employment efficiency, employment environment, but party members of graduates enjoy a higher employment satisfaction than that of other political landscape graduates; Graduates whose household register is big cities have minimal development space,and significant difference; Graduates who obtain work through open recruitment examination way have a better employment quality in employment efficiency, employment environment and development space, job satisfaction;Graduates who wok in large and medium-sized or well-known enterprises have higher employment quality than those wok in other nature enterprises in employment efficiency, employment environment, social security, employment structure, development space;Graduates who work in developed areas enjoy a better employment quality than those work in other regional in employment environment and employment structure, the development of space.The third part analyses the characteristics of the students employment quality from the perspective of labor market segmentation.This part detailedly analyzed the factors which affected the non-normal students’employment quality mainly from gender, urban and rural social class, family, industry, regional.The fourth part is the countermeasures and Suggestions.According to the conclusion from the former two parts,this paper puts forward some policy recommendations about how to improve the non-normal students’employment quality of local normal university from the government, schools and students.
