A complete teaching system is composed by class teaching and assignment. Assignment is the extension of class teaching, not only can help students understand and consolidate knowledge which need, but also can cultivate the students' practical ability, develop students' all kinds of intelligence and creative ability. As a step after class, assignment has draw attention from education researchers.Under the background of new curriculum reform, school education in China has been trying to change traditional teaching concept. On the basis of training student's all-round development, school emphasizes humanity care for students, and try to help them keep and develop their personality. Under the guidance of this concept, in the present high school geography course, not only the teacher's classroom teaching methods and strategies have been change, the assignments are also being updated in form and content step by step as the extension of class. many teachers are trying to design some of geographic layered homework that help students finish learning task more suitablely. Therefore, to explore how to design a more effective layered assignment, find in layered assignment design method which have more value,is a rich research area.This paper is basis of consulting a large number of relevant literature, scientific definition of the assignment, geography assignment, layered assignment, design method of layered assignment and geographical layered assighnment; Sorting out the related research at domestic and overseas,analyzed the function of high school geography layered assignment; Reflections from the aspects of teachers and students, find out the problem of high school design method of geography layered assignment in our country; Based on related theory of layered operation and gave some of rational measures.Through the above work, this paper sums up some principle of design method of geography layered assignment,such as the multi-level, diversified, nature, openness,and try to carry out the eography layered assignment from different angles, such as according knowledge system of the teaching material, students' cognitive level, cultivate core literacy and smart goals,and at the same time, given the corresponding case. Hope can provide the certain reference in layered assignment design for geographic first-line teachers.This paper attempts to improve the design method of geographic layered assignment, to promote the development of students, to improve teaching effectively and to avoid the problem of inefficient, invalid geographic layered assignment.
