Boarding school is an important form to focus the educational resources and promote the education fair at compulsory stage.As the specific running forms,greatly extended the time that students at school.In this way, the students' life after school is very important in boarding school. If the activities after school is rich enough not only relates to the degree of students' school life enrichment,but also students' physical and mental health development.Especially in rural area,there are many left-behind children in boarding school.So we must give more attention to the students' after school life in rural area.In this study,I mainly used questionnaire,observation and interviewing research methods,make H boarding primary school as a case in Helan country of Ningxia,and study about the present situation of students' after school life.The purpose of this study is through investigating and describing the development of after school life about H boarding primary school in Helan country of Ningxia.Then analyzing these situation until found the key what make this happen.After that,trying to put forward some measures to improve the students' after school life in H boarding school.Hoping that these measures could help the school managers and teachers improve the students' after school life.Through the research we can find that there are many problems in this school:the spare time after school of students mainly occupied by doing homework,the activity content also very simple and tedious,the after school activities lack of planning and organization.Besides,this school lack of enough space and equipment for children'extracurricular activities.They also have no effective evaluation mechanism of extracurricular activities.According to the investigation, the elements that contribute to problems of after-class life of H boarding primary school mainly involved in aspects mentioned below. First, a large amount of students after-class life is occupied. Second,extra-curriculum activities are always boring and lack of planing and organization. At the same time, ground and equipment are insufficient as well.Furthermore,noevaluation system is reasonably and effectively developed. Thanks to a series of relative theories, the main reason why the after-class life of H boarding primary school is not satisfactory is find out. With the insufficient awareness of after-class life, teachers and school managers tend to seriously limiting extra-curriculum activities from both time and contents.However, from a more objective viewpoint,space and equipment for extra-curriculum activities are limited as well. Finally,several solutions are worked out to improve the after-class life in rural boarding primary schools, which mainly involved aspects of education, school and substance.
