Boarding means that schools will not only take the responsibility of students' studies,but also their daily lives and bases indicating that at the same time,teachers should lead the role of family education since boarders have spent more time on campus instead of at home comparing with extern students.Meanwhile,of course,as boarding students have saved their time from frequent returning of school and home,they can certainly enjoy the bigger opportunities and freedom of participating after class activities.Yet additionally,considering Yunnan Province holds less geographical advantage,its educational condition is relatively incomparable with some developed cities and areas.This paper will explore the problems existing in the management of extracurricular activities in the rural areas,including discovering their main causes and reasons,based on Baohe Primary School at Laochang Xiang in Xinping County,Yunnan Province.This research is intending to solve and discus the current issues scientifically through four methods of studying: literature research,questionnaires,interviews and case studies which was divided into individual parts as shown below for further discussions.Part I: Introduction.Containing the purpose of the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the core concepts and basic theory to sort out and summarize the depth of the study on the status of extracurricular activities,and to find out the theoretical support,research methods and ideas.Part II: Investigation and Analysis.Through the investigation of the basic situation of Baoshe Primary School and the development of experimental work,this paper describes the present status of extracurricular activities management of rural boarding students in combination with the effective information reflected in the survey.Part III: Problem Analysis.By analyzing the sample data,the study will find the existing problems in the management of extracurricular activities of primary and secondary school students,and to analyze the causes from the four levels: schools,teachers,students and parents.Part IV: Strategy Research.In view of the problems and causes of the extracurricular activities management,the author puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from various perspectives.From the national perspective of controls and managements,1.expanding the education funds and channels that is to promote a balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education;2.raising the salaries of certified teachers;3.clarifying the relevant policies and plans of activity funds and financial other supports.The perspectives of school mainly focus on enhancing the effectiveness of extracurricular activities management,including the establishment of correlative rules and the regulations of reducing the pressure of students' studies.The perspectives of teachers basically concentrate on improving the extracurricular activities including the managements of training system,instructive and inspection effectiveness and implementation.
