In the view of global history,the development of human beings’society is the processfrom segregation to integration,the human beings’history should be viewed as a whole,all theregional and national histories should be absorbed into the interrelated world history,and allthe regional and national cultures as well as their diversity should be respected.Now the world is pounded by the economical globalizing trend.The new age requiresthe application of new historical view and global historical view.Since2001,our country hascarried on the new round curriculum reform.Under the new situation,it is very essential forthe first line high school history teachers to strengthen the history fundamentalresearch. Understanding the tendency of history,particularly global history viewpoint,civilized history viewpoint and so on,is advantageous to promote middle school historyteaching reform for the present middle school history education development.and to connectwith the development of world education.Strengthening the use of the global historyviewpoint in the historical teaching classroom is advantageous to deepen thestudents’grasping of historical knowledge,forming the complete knowledge structure andimproving student’s overall quality.It is advantageous to lean the excellent cultural fruits,andto foster the worldwide and foreword-1ooking mentality.So, to understand the necessity andmeaning of the application of the History of the World as well as to find the strategy and howto use it are the main ideas of this passage.In this article,I attempt to apply the view of global history in high school historicaleducation.The requirement of The Standard of History Curriculum for High School Studentsis taken into consideration in the attempt.It is elaborated in four parts in this article.The firstpart analyzes the reasons why we should advocate the view of global history in historicaleducation.The second part introduces briefly the importance of relating to the view ofglobal history.The third part discusses the application of the view of global history in highschool historical education. The discussion is illustrated in several topics selected fromhistory curriculum for high schoo1.The fourth part summarizes the experience and remainingproblems of the practice....
