The study of Mandarin has certainly grown in South Korea year by year with the increasingly close relationship and more and more economic cooperation between China and South Korea.In South Korea,more and more middle and primary schools have started Chinese language course with more and more people learning Chinese.The Chinese Government's Chinese Language Council International,also known as Hanban,has sent Chinese teachers who have passed the strict selection and systematical trainings as volunteers to the primary and secondary schools in South Korea since 2012 in order to cope with the demand.The Chinese language course of South Korea adopts a collaborative teaching model of Chinese teachers from both China and South Korea.There are a lot of problems of the teaching model due to the short period application.The paper is to analyze the possible problems in the collaborative teaching model by introducing the characteristics of the Chinese teachers from China and South Korea and the students in South Korea.Now there are mainly three models among the collaborative teaching model of South Korea including the teachers of South Korea orientation with the teachers of China as subsidiary,the teachers of China orientation with the teachers of South Korea as subsidiary and the teachers of China and South Korea orientation.The paper is to point out the shortcomings of the three models and propose recommendations for improvement by analyzing the three teaching models.The author introduced the general situation of the school,settings of Chinese course and the situation of both Chinese teachers and students.Then the author put forward a new teaching mode called dominating Chinese class by turns and indicated the advantages and disadvantages of it.Also the author proposed how to do team teaching in pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and culture based on the actual teaching cases.Finally,the paper is to make recommendations for improvement respectively for the Chinese teacher of China and South Korea and the education department in South Korea to improve the Chinese collaborative teaching model of South Korea.Moreover,the research of the paper is to provide some references for the Chinese language teaching cause of South Korea and promote the development of the Chinese language teaching model of high school in South Korea.
