The Current Situation Of Chinese Language Education In Incheon Highschools Of South Korea

This thesis is based on the survey of questionnaire and academic discussions.In South Korea and China,Education experts,who study current Chinese language education of South Korea,have increased.They have mainly studied how to teach Chinese to South Korean university students and international students in China.And they also studied the way to develop of Chinese language education projects and the problems of that.However,the studies of Chinese language education for South Korean high school students are relatively few.Therefore,this thesis researched the current situation of Chinese language education for South Korean high school students.In order to understand the current situation of South Korean high school,this thesis includes a survey on South Korean high school students and teachers.This thesis shows us how the government takes steps toward teaching Chinese language education for high school students and the issues such as the selection of Chinese teachers and teaching methods.By analyzing statistics,It also can explain the issues related to current Chinese language education projects,and find some problems about the Chinese language education at the South Korean high school,and lastly provide some suggestions to solve these problems.Finally,I expect that the suggestions of this thesis would help attract more attention in Chinese language education projects for South Korean high school students.
