In recent years, countries continue to increase policy support in vocational education. As an important branch of modern education system, higher vocational education has become the base to transport high knowledge of Applied Talents in the high-tech industry. The higher vocational colleges are facing the development opportunities and the fierce competition. The key to the competition between colleges and universities lies in the competition of teaching quality, which depends on the quality of teachers. So, the essence of competition is the quality of teachers. Therefore, the establishment of a scientific and standardized appraisal system for teachers can promote their enthusiasm, personal development and effective performance and enhance the ability of running a school.In this paper, the present situation and existing problems of the current teacher performance evaluation system in SG college are investigated and analyzed. Through the data analysis, the author found the shortcomings of the current teacher performance assessment system of College of SG in the index set, assessment objectives, assessment process and other aspects. Therefore, by using the theory and method of performance appraisal, from the school reality of evaluation content, index, process and other aspects of further optimization design, the corresponding measures are formulated to make the system more comprehensive, reasonable, standardized and more suitable for human resource management in higher vocational colleges.
