At present, there is a lack of skilled workers in developed areas in China. This problem cannot be neglected. The supply of workers with both professional knowledge and practical experience is not adequate to the demand. The secondary vocational school, whose duty is to cultivate primary and intermediate skilled workers, is facing great opportunities as well as great challenges. The most crucial problems for them are how to take advantage of the opportunities in such environment to cultivate qualified graduates to meet the needs of markets and enterprises and how to break the barriers to achieve the sustainable development of them.In this thesis, the author analyzed the function of cooperation between enterprises and second vocational schools and investigated the current situation of school A in Nanchang from the point of such cooperation. According to the survey, there are some unique advantages in this school. On the other hand, just like other second vocational schools, there are some common problems in school A when it cooperates with enterprises. First, they lack the support and supervision of the government; Second, the bad qualities, physiological and psychological characteristics of students have great impact on it; Third, the sever employment situation and school's lacking of initiative have impact on the cooperation. Fourth, the mode of running a school and talents training is far from social needs. At the same time, school A has its own peculiar problems. First, it doesn't offer the psychological intervention for students; Second, it seldom communicates with enterprises;Third, it doesn't give enough publicity on characteristics and features of majors; Forth, it doesn't seek the support of government actively; Fifth, it doesn't know enterprises in depth and lack supervision; Sixth, it doesn't adjust majors well according to the need; Seventh, it doesn't have enough professional teachers. In order to cope with these problems, this paper gives the corresponding strategies.First, the school should seek the support from government actively; Second, it should communicate with enterprises actively; Third, it should communicate with parents actively;Fourth, it should explore various cooperation modes and expand the multi-level cooperation; Fifth, it should offer more ways to keep students' mental health; Sixth, it should cultivate teachers. It is believed that the cooperation between secondary vocational schools and enterprises will be better with the effort of both sides. As a result, more and more talented and skillful students can be cultivated to satisfy the need of market and enterprises.
