Shenzhen Polytechnic founded in 1995 is a symbolic beginning of vocational education. With a series of vocational education oriented policies introduced by CPC Central Committee and State Council, vocational education becomes the strategic focus of education in China and significant foundation for social economic development. Since then, vocational education has stepped on the path of rapid development.School-enterprise cooperation, as a proven and efficient way of cultivating talents, can fulfill social demand and has made certain achievements over the past two decades,though it still has some problems. In consideration of the real situation of school-enterprise cooperation of Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College, this paper looks into the problems and corresponding solutions of school-enterprise cooperation.Playing a leading role in school-enterprise cooperation, vocational colleges have to give full play to their initiative and promote more enterprises to join it. Focused on enterprise demand, vocational colleges should enhance awareness of serving the enterprise, match enterprise demand, and search for cooperation approaches. Striving to accomplish four innovations, vocational colleges should improve their enterprise service ability, update systems and mechanisms, and construct strong school-enterprise cooperation guarantee.Modern enterprises are direct participants and beneficiaries of school-enterprise cooperation. For better facilitate school-enterprise cooperation, enterprises need to adopt new ideas, form correct cooperative consciousness, and strengthen their own cooperation capability. Additionally, enterprises, based on effective implementation of policies, should establish sound training systems, optimize plans and reinforce the school-enterprise cooperation management.Governments, the macro regulator, should also be direct participant of school-enterprise cooperation, strengthen top-level design and plan school-enterprise cooperation of vocational colleges in an all-around way. Besides, laws and regulations should be made to improve relevant policies of school-enterprise cooperation; more capitals should be invested and a reasonable capital allocation mechanism should be set up.Participants of school-enterprise cooperation have to be clear of their responsibilities and conduct it on the basis of shouldering responsibilities and creating cooperation environment together. Vocational colleges, as the back bone of school-enterprise cooperation, have to initiatively take most responsibilities, promote enterprises toemphasize the enhancement of their service and talents development so as to increase their core competitiveness. Furthermore, in an attempt to gain more governmental support,vocational colleges should initiatively contact governments and administrative departments of the industry. In school-enterprise cooperation, vocational colleges have to bravely face challenges, actively update cooperation mechanism and system, endeavor to get successful cases of excellent cooperative results, and contribute to the efficient talents cultivation model.
