With the transformation of economy and society, the innovation and development of entrepreneurship education, social demand for talents is becoming more diversified, complicated and precise, professional type is also more diverse. Accordingly, social and universities are increasingly concerned about how undergraduate students should understand and choose profession, how to correctly balance the relationship between the self-development and social needs. In the theoretical point of view, undergraduate students have to learn to balance self-identity and social identity, to form a high level of occupational identity. The occupational identity of undergraduate students is the extending of occupational identity in the scope of undergraduate students, also the undergraduate students'self-identification in career. The occupational identity of undergraduate students means the process that as a prospective professionals, they gradually understand that which profession to choose and which profession could choose. When reach to a high level of occupational identity, undergraduate students have the confidence and ability to make the choose from the dilemma. Referring to James Marcia's identity status theory, we can divide the undergraduate students'occupational identity into identity diffusion, identity foreclosure, identity moratorium and identity achievement. The occupational identity development of undergraduate students is that they make the transition from the status of identity diffusion, identity foreclosure, identity moratorium to the status of identity achievement, to establish and achieve occupational goals. What's more, by the research, we can find the characteristics of the occupational identity development of undergraduate students, that is level diversity of structure, subjective diversity of mechanism, dynamic developmental of pieces multiple complexity of dynamic. As well as, we could find the value of occupational identity development of undergraduate students, enhancing the level of their professional learning, promoting the quality of graduates employment and improving the quality of creative education. We could find that the influence factors are social factor, university factor, family factor and individual factor. The occupational identity development of undergraduate students is not only the focus of the higher education theory research, but also the difficult point in higher education practice. On the basis of theoretical research, using the occupational identity scale (OIS), we hold the investigation about the present status of occupational identity development of undergraduate students in Liaoning province. At the same time, when revising and optimizing the scale, we could overall look the occupational identity status of undergraduate students in the country. We could find the following conclusion:the occupational identity of undergraduate students is below the medium level, only 18.1% of them reaches to the status of occupational achievement,36.5% of them is in the status of occupational diffusion,10.4% of them is in the status of occupational moratorium,7% of them is in the status of occupational foreclosure,28% of them is not obvious. Their occupational identity development level exists differences in gender, grade and discipline standards.Summing the results of theoretical research and investigation, in view of the present status of occupational identity development of undergraduate students, we could take measures to help undergraduate students establish right occupational goals, make a best occupational choose, and improve the quality of graduates employment and creative education, such as building healthful cultural environment to promote occupational identity development, constructing complete curriculum system to guide occupational identity development and improving comprehensive guidance system to support occupational identity development.
