The Ministry of Education issued the “Opinions on Promoting the Development of arts education in schools" which clearly indicated that The Ministry of Education will make the art quality assessment among primary and secondary schools and secondary vocational school students from 2015.The evaluation results credited to the students’ files,and it will be the one of the comprehensive evaluation of students’ development as well as the reference of admission.Under the artistic educational background,how to implement the new changes for language subjects is becoming the challenge faced by every language educators.Theatre is one of the four literary carrier,leaving a glorious chapter in world history,which occupies an important position in the history of literature.Drama excerpts of junior high school as a part of language teaching,it has special stylistic features that others not.Because it combines a variety of art elements,it can not only greatly expand students’ horizons,enrich students’ spiritual world,it also has a unique value and significance to enhance students’ literary and artistic accomplishment.However,in junior high school language compulsory textbooks,theater did not get the attention it deserves.Teachers often simply make the interpretation for dramatic literature,which is difficult to excavate the intrinsic value of drama text.Drama is an expressive art form,but the classroom teaching is difficult to show the unique charm of drama.Therefore,effective development and utilization for the drama teaching resources has a positive effect for enhancing students’ language and artistic accomplishment and promoting the development of language education.Under the background of art education,it is worth to mining the unique value of drama education.Based on this circumstances,this paper divided into three sections: The first chapter is a comparative analysis from various dimensions for drama excerpt among the junior high school language textbook.Summarize the characteristics and problems of choreography.Second chapter is to find the current problems of teaching drama from the survey results which is finished by some teachers and students of Zhengzhou Foreign Language School.The purpose of third chapter is proposing specific optimization strategies to solve the problems among choreography,dramatic texts classroom teaching and drama extracurricular activities.
