The emergence of mass media enriches the ways for secondary school students to obtain knowledge of history and makes the history learning more interesting.Meanwhile, some mass media creates and spreads profane works that are not true with historical facts regardless of the social responsibility and ethics. As a result, the accuracy of historical knowledge received by the secondary school students is affected, their views on history and values are misled, and even the misplace of history cognition cannot be avoided. In terms of history in-class learning of middle school students, the gradual application of mass media to history teaching brings new options for high school history classroom and promotes the reform of history teaching. But problems still exist in the current situation of history study for secondary school students: in terms of interest and attitudes, although the general middle school students has some interest in history, they lack a clear learning motivation, and some history teachers can not take advantage of public works inappropriately,at last these factors may mislead playful interpretation of history.when it comes to the mastery of the knowledge delivered in the classroom, the teachers excessively rely on multimedia to prepare a lesson,so a class without depth can't meet the needs of students, and the relationship of mass media and historical knowledge is too little less;As far as the cultivation of the views on history is concerned, the teachers explain too less on the historical causal relationship in the use of multimedia, which is to the disadvantage of the formation of historical thinking ability and the correct version of history. In terms of history out-class learning of middle school students,Popular books, movies,TV plays, the Internet and other mass media enrich students' extracurricular lives, help to improve students' prejudices on history, enhance their interests, and stimulate their potentials. However,by distorting history, some media misleads the cultivation of students' view on history and affect the accuracy of historical knowledge, hindering the expand of students' enlightenment thinking, even undermining their traditional Chinese culture identity.Under the background of the mass media,in-class and after-class learning have something in common.First, the learning objectives are the same.Second, they are complementary instead of absolute opposites. There are also disparities. From the point of interesting learning, the diversified mass media is better than the framed history class;from the perspective of accuracy, standardized school education is more formal than an array of mass media;from the aspect of historical view cultivation, classroom education focuses on reminding and reform, while the mass media is accustomed to the subtle influence.Appropriate countermeasures must be taken to address the dislocation of secondary school students' cognition of history against the background of the mass media.Schools should put educational effect into practice, and help the students to strengthen the "basic knowledge".Teachers should seriously identify the truth, guiding students to distinguish between right and wrong. The society should purify the mass media to construct "the second classroom" of history.Students themselves should take the initiative to think independently, and try to avoid the misleading of “Pseudo history”.
