In the face of the rapid development of modern information technology,combination of education and information is very urgent, teachers should change the traditional teaching ideas and teaching methods. Compulsory education stage of the reform of the new curriculum standard and the national elementary education curriculum reform outline of, make multimedia in junior middle school thought personal character class teaching plays a more and more important role, cause the continuous attention of people.This article mainly adopts the literature method, experience method, questionnaire survey and interview survey method and other methods, from the usage of multimedia in the teaching of ideology and moral character, function and effect, the production of multimedia courseware, teachers and the school computer operation level of its equipped with multimedia equipment situation perspective, such as the application of multimedia in the junior middle school thought personal character class teaching present situation investigation. Seen from the results of the survey, the multimedia auxiliary ideological and moral teaching has great advantages, in the thought personal character class teaching, multimedia auxiliary teaching favored by students, but at the same time,there are a lot of problems. Includes: 1, the school part of the multimedia equipment are in need of upgrading, the existing multimedia equipment management and maintenance aspects of loophole; 2, the frequency of the ideological and moral teachers using multimedia assisted teaching is low, not a good use of multimedia resources; 3,ideological and moral teachers of multimedia applied in moral character teaching there exist deviations in understanding and attitude, etc.The author in the usual teaching process also accumulated some firsthand material,combined with their own teaching experience, the multimedia in the teaching of junior middle school thought moral character class paper summarizes the problems, in under the guidance of constructivism and the theory of the zone of proximal development, put forward some feasibility Suggestions, the hope can give a glimmer of junior middle school thought moral teachers in the multimedia teaching in the future to provide somehelps for experience.
