The new mathematics curriculum of high school emphasizes "student-centered,teacher-led " teaching philosophy. It promotes autonomous, cooperative and inquiry learning mode and focuses on the cultivation of students' learning interest and innovative consciousness.Due to the poor facilities, mathematical instability of students,short of teachers quantity and low professional quality of teachers, the mathematical learning of senior high school students in the rural areas is more traditionally, it is particularly prominent in Passive acceptance and rote learning.There is a big gap,which compared with the new mathematics curriculum requirements for high school students.Therefore, it is very necessary to study mathematics learning methods of the rural senior high school students in the present stage.The research methods of literature analysis, questionnaire survey, interview and classroom observation are adopted in this study.Taking a senior school of Zhenyuan county in Gansu province as an example, some math teachers and students are investigated in four learning modes, acceptation, autonomy, cooperation and inquiry.The results are as follows,(a)After the new curriculum reform, the students' mathematics learning methods have changed, but still close to half(47%) of the students learns to mainly accept the process of mathematics learning.(b)Autonomous learning has been recognized by teachers and students,but a lot of students have much dependence on teachers,and autonomous learning awareness is not strong.(c)Students are very fond of cooperative learning, and a lot of teachers' organize many times, but the effectiveness is not significant and the process is mere formality.(d)In the actual learning process, little inquiry activity courses is carried out and less teachers' guide.Students' ability to explore is generally weak, though teachers and students think that the inquiry learning is very important.On this basis, combined with rural high school students' own characteristics and the new curriculum of mathematics learning requirements, in order to promote thetransformation of maths learning, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for schools and teachers. First, the senior school should do the work of linking junior and senior high school to enable students to lay a good foundation for the transformation of the mode of learning. Second, the school should carry out special training to enable teachers to really understand the characteristics of various learning methods and essentials. Third, teachers should develop curriculum resources of mathematics to create conditions for the transformation of learning style actively. Fourth,teachers should improve teaching methods to promote the transformation of maths learning.Fifth, teachers should change the way of evaluation and take the students learning styles as the main content of evaluation.
