Local education, based on the native soil, linked to the emotion, is the combination of "local education" and "local cognitive", meaning that it not only to teach local knowledge as the ultimate goal, more is their recognition and understanding of the local culture. Grasping the connotation and essence of local education from the historical change is the effective way to realize the value and goal of rural education at present.W primary school is a central primary school located in a small village in the east of Gansu. Overall, the weakening of local education is a main trajectory of change of rural education from 70s to the present nearly 45 years in the primary school, but also have changes and twists and turns. First of all, in the early 70s to the 80s, rural education tradition in the primary school has a very good continuation, this stage of the rural education is entirely spontaneous, despite scattered education activity, but the teaching effect is very obvious;in the 90s,in the modern education system,W primary school ignores the innate endowment on rural education resources, but to pursue urban education, rural education began to fade, but the contact between school and local has not been cut off.21st century, especially after 2010, the isolation of rural education and rural culture has drawn people's attention, local education reflected in the education policy, but the top-down education administrative measures, without resonate with the relevant masses or achieve identity, can play little effect on the education, the loss of rural education is still growing.The change of process about rural education, therefore, not occur from nowhere, but together with a variety of factors. From the point of the whole social background, the forces of modernity and tradition is the core element in the change process;Education inside including education concept, education system, the structure of teachers, education policy and the trajectory of school change are all the main influencing factors involved in the change process.After comprehensive analysis on the changes of the rural education of primary school, rural education for a long time in the present and the future will remain serious. Therefore, the development of rural education in the future should be from the following several aspects to improve.First of all, must have a clear understanding of the concept of local education, and start with "cultural consciousness", make the promotion of the students'life overall growth as the goal, so that it can not only based on the "local", but also for the "modern". In addition, the attention of aspects of the education is also very critical, Firstly, the rural teachers' cognition and understanding of local education resources is the key premise of implementation of rural education; Second,the rural education is not a stereotype of literature, should be to cultivate the students' native identity as the core; Third, activities organization get close to the students' life is the key to the success of rural education. Fourth, the appropriate guarantee of the autonomy of the school is the necessary condition for the implementation of local education. Finally, the implementation of the rural education need education policy to guarantee and support.
