In today's world,every country has been undergoing a education reform.As the core part of education reform,the curriculum reform have attracted much attention,and the reform of curriculum development and management mode have became the mainstream of developing.Our country had put forward the idea of school-based curriculum development at the beginning of new century in our country's elementary education curriculum reform,for following the international trend.School-based curriculum development adjusts the relationship between the teachers and curriculum and changes the current situation that teachers over dependence on the nation curriculum,giving the teacher autonomous right.So,this paper investigated the teacher's participation in school-based curriculum development in junior high school in Dalian,by using the method of document analysis,questionnaire and interview,to know and analyze the problem that teachers encounter during the school-based curriculum development and find the reasons and give reasonable strategies.The research is consist of four parts:Problem posing this part include the context of the research,research overview at home and abroad,the goal,the significance,the method and the process of this research.Concept definition and theories on the basis of the overview of the current documents,this paper defined the concept of participation,school-based curriculum development,and middle school teacher's participation in school-based curriculum development,and explained the theory of curriculum development and organizational behavior in education.The core and emphasis of this research we investigated the teacher's participation in school-based curriculum development from the aspects of cognition,motivation,items,external supports and effect.It found that teachers are lack of sufficient cognition,motivation and external supports and have poor skills.And we also analyzed the reasons.Solutions this paper gives reasonable advice that promoting the level of teachers' abilities,creating an atmosphere that everyone participate in school-based curriculum development,reforming the management system of administrative department.
