| This paper starts from empirical research. First-grade classes of physical teaching both from a primary school in Nanchang(Primary School Attached to Nanchang University) and a primary school in the United States(Brimhall) are selected as the objects of research. The research is studied from four relevant aspects-teaching process and contents, teaching organizational forms, teaching resources, and teachers and students, then draws the following conclusions:Firstly, there exists some differences in the interaction between teachers and students and the enthusiasm of students during the teaching process of PE class. In the sports class of American primary school, teachers and students make interactions frequently. Teacher will also participate in the game together, which arouses the enthusiasm of children so that there is no pressure in class for children, thus highlighting the interest and participation in the process of teaching. Therefore, student-oriented mode doesn’t exist in the sports class of Chinese primary school. There are mostly more single teaching mode, teachers teaching and students learning, in which makes less interaction between teachers and students, and thus reduce the students’ enthusiasm to participate in sports activities.Secondly, using different teaching methods in physical education class teaching resulting different teaching effect make some differences. The sports class of American primary school pays attention to organize teaching by competition and relay according to students’ characteristics of the physical and mental development. The various and casual class forms, and the incentive methods of evaluation that fades results, which improve students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative. The sports classes of Chinese primary school mainly use the “traditional imparting teaching”, and the class form mainly include three aspects: first, the preparing parts; second, the basic part; third, the end part. Besides, group teaching method also be used, which could fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students and cultivate the students’ team consciousness, responsibility consciousness and cooperation spirit.Thirdly, there exists some differences in the teaching resources of sports teaching. Sports classes of American primary school physical education have rich teaching resources. In terms of ground usage, it has the characteristics and advantage of "less people and large ground". Besides, it has indoor and outdoor ground. Outdoor ground is the vast green field, buildings not being around, which is very safe. Facilities and equipment are complete. China is lack in the teaching resources of sports class at primary school. Generally, there is no indoor gym class, mostly taking exercises in the outdoor playground. Because of “large population and small ground”, therefore, there exists great limitations, also in the aspect of facilities and equipment.Through comparison and analysis, we conclude that the following suggestions: firstly, the sports teaching experiences of American primary school is not completely suitable for Chinese primary school sports teaching; secondly, the design of teaching contents and organizational forms of American primary school sports class provides references for us; thirdly, the experience of protective measures in American primary school sports class can also be absorbed for us. |
