The current level of junior high school geography education is relatively low, which is mainly affected by the impact at this stage of the education system. Junior, geography is considered to be the Deputy Branch, and gradually marginalized.In this case, some schools do not adequately focus on the teaching of geography, can not pay attention to the construction of geography teachers. With the promotion of basic education reform, with the teacher evaluation standards continue to improve, how to do under the new curriculum reform of geography teaching junior high school, so that students can better adapt to the new curriculum under study geography, which presented a huge geography teachers It challenges. In order to adapt to the new geography curriculum requirements, geography teachers to improve their geographic literacy, change teaching ideas, update their knowledge structure, improve teaching skills, focus on teaching reflection to enhance research capacity. Therefore, improving geographic literacy of teachers is not only geography teachers need their own development, but also the teacher evaluation standards, it is an inevitable trend in the development path of geography education teacher.This paper attempts to analyze the current teacher evaluation standards for seminars, geography continued to improve the professionalism of teachers, the implementation of quality education strategy to promote the progress of all students grow up to play a useful help. Now the deepening reform of basic education, teacher evaluation standards are improving, measures to improve teaching junior high school geography curriculum under the new curriculum reform methods to improve the students for the new curriculum reform of geography curriculum learning outcomes, it is geography teacher needs complete major tasks. Geography teachers need to follow the instructions of new curriculum reform, enhance the geography knowledge of literacy, innovative teaching ideas, change their knowledge structure, improve the teaching ability, attention to teaching reflection, and enhance academic research level. So geography teachers to enhance their knowledge of geography literacy can contribute to their career advancement, able to meet the teacher evaluation standards become qualified teachers, but also to promote the progress of geography education curriculum. Through literature search, questionnaire and chart analysis and other research methods* empirical research on the present situation of junior high school geography teacher literacy were countermeasures and analysis, optimization junior high school geography teacher quality measures on this basis. The main conclusions are as follows:1, junior high school geography teacher moral quality is good, but there are some problems.2, junior geography teachers with the knowledge structure is not balanced shortcomings.3, the junior high school geography teacher teaching ability accomplishment better able to meet the needs of junior high school geography teaching. On the basis of the results and conclusions of the study on the proposed measures in accordance with the relevant solve its problems, to develop good junior high school geography science literacy, the main measures are:to promote the self-improvement geography teachers, improve teacher evaluation standards, and integration of teacher education increase the intensity of Geography teachers training.
