Employment Guidance for College Students is an emerging common required course in colleges and universities, which broader and practical, guiding the college student not only to set up the correct employment idea, recognize the employment situation clearly, and grasp the job hunting strategy, analyze the employment skills, familiar with the job recruiting process, job-hunting skills, job-hunting ceremonies and a few notes when signing. To know the necessary knowledge, quality and ability in independent business, Employment Guidance for College Students is an important course which helps the college student to adapt into society, prepared to face employment and with confidence to achieve their correct life value and social value.In recent years, Employment Guidance for College Students course develops rapidly in colleges and universities, but some problems still exist currently:Although both teachers and students pay much attention to the course, the course is mainly based on traditional classroom teaching, adopting the cramming method of teaching, teachers-led and students receive knowledge passively. There is only one class per week, confined to teaching in the classroom, course content is not rich enough, the whole classroom is short of vitality and fun, teaching method is single, students lack motivation to learn, cause the course objectives that can’t really reach.Blackboard network teaching platform as an open, advanced, powerful curriculum management system, it is one of the most popular teaching platforms for all kinds of educational institutions at present, also an ideal tool for building a learning platform for network courses.Literature analysis method and survey method are employed in this study, combined with the author’s teaching experience in the course of Employment Guidance for College Students, at first, the author has analyzed the teaching requirements and teaching situation of the course, summarized the main problems existing in the course of teaching. Then, author has introduced the general situation of the network course and the Blackboard network teaching platform, expounded the Instructional System Design Theory, Constructivism Learning Theory, Humanistic Learning Theory and Ausubel’s Learning Theory, as well as their guiding significance to the course design of the network. Finally, the emphasis is on the basis of the theory of network curriculum design, aiming at the problems existing in the course teaching characteristics and teaching process of Employment Guidance for College Students, according to the function and characteristics of the Blackboard network teaching platform, the design and development of the network course of Employment Guidance for College Students was carried out on the platform.
