There were 27 provincial universities and hundreds of thousands Students in H ubei province in 2016.Every year,there is a large number of graduates who wer e born in Hubei from provincial universities obtaining employments in other pro vinces.Studying the trans-regional employment's situations of graduates from pro vincial universities has realistic and theoretical values for us on these works: loo king for the geographic trends and characteristics of employment of Hubei provi ncial graduates,evaluating and calculating the value of this transfer,studying the division of education in different regions,recognizing the contribution to talent cultivation to other areas by Hubei provincial universities,analyzing the competiti veness of graduates from provincial universities in trans-regional employment imp roving vocational guidance work to Students in universities.We did investigation and analysis about trans-regional employment's situations about graduates born i n Hubei by literature research,comparative research and investigation.We designed a questionnaire with three parts: the flow of trans-regional emplo yment,the quality of employment and pressures of post-employment.We distribu ted 511 questionnaires in graduates of 27 provincial universities who works outsi de of Hubei province(except for Hongkong,Macao and Taiwan)and got 368 va lid questionnaires back.Based on the survey data,this paper analyzed the trans-r egional employment's situations of graduates from Hubei provincial universities.The result of research shows that:it is obviously to the tendency of graduates fr om Hubei provincial universities moving to the east area:78% flowed to east are a,13% flowed to central area,less than 9% flowed to west area.Working in fi rst-tier cities became the main choice for these graduates:53.68% work in first-tie r cities,29.4% work in second-tier cities,16.91% work in first-tier cities.61.14% work in the private sectors.Graduates of different majors have certain differences in the regional mobility of employment;the economic development of places th at students born has a significant impact on graduates' trans-regional employment flow.The level of starting salary of graduates from Hubei provincial universitie s in the first-tier cities is higher than the local average income level of graduate s.The incomes of graduates who worked in the eastern area grew faster than in other regions.The starting salary of foreign-funded enterprises and private enter prises is higher than that of state-owned enterprises and administrative institutions.The income of graduates of science and engineering is increasing faster than th at of liberal arts graduates.The income of male graduates is increasing faster hi gher than that of female graduates.Whether it has party membership and whethe r it has been a student cadre during school has an impact on the income of gra duates.As past-employment pressure,more than half of the graduates feel that t here are various difficulties,mostly facing economic,emotional,housing and othe r pressures.1/4 of graduates feel the pressure of housing,but there is little diffe rence between men and women.Housing pressure to graduates working in first-ti er cities is significantly higher than in other parts of the country;Male graduatesin first-tier cities feel more stressful in housing than female;the proportion of male graduates with emotional stress is significantly higher than that of females.We suggest improving the employment guidance to the students born in Hubei in the provincial universities,Promoting students' psychological preparation and enhancing the euphoria of trans-regional employment.Improve their lives and wo rks by Hubei's cocerals in different areas.We shall accelerate the economic and social development of Hubei province,so that we can create better environment of employment for graduates,and attract more graduates who born in Hubei to get job in the home province.
