With continuous expansion of colleges and universities, rear service also develops; logistics will inevitably encounter many problems. When developing, logistics in colleges and universities will encounter several problems and so it is true of incentive mechanism. Research on the mechanism will be realistically significant in guiding reform and development of logistics in colleges and universities.The paper takes contract employees from logistics division in college A as the object and attempts to find the problems existing in the incentive mechanism. Through combing incentive theories and questionnaire research, the paper also analyzes and locates the reasons for the problems in incentive mechanism. On the basis of above findings, the paper combines relevant incentive theories suggest a feasible incentive mechanism for logistics in college A.Research shows some problems have emerged in the incentive mechanism of logistics division in college A, including insufficient recognition of logistics management, backward ideas of personnel recruitment, huge differences of salary level, too much economic incentive, lack of negative incentives and advanced cultural system as well as poor working conditions. With a questionnaire on contract employees in logistics division in college, the paper concludes the incentive mechanism does not adapt to development of college A. Therefore, on this basis, the article combines Maslow's Demand Theory, Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory and EquityTheroy, proposes a practical incentive mechanism, such as creating a new mechanism of personnel recruitment, a new salary model, combination of material and non-material incentive mechanism, establishing good working environment and cultivating advanced culture and so on. Through the study on incentive mechanism of logistics in college A, it can improve employee's satisfaction to their jobs and act as a reference for optimizing incentive mechanism in other colleges.
