As Jerome Seymour Bruner said,“The best stimulus to learning is interest” and an aim was set for math teaching in the new curriculum standards,“To improve students' interest,build up confidence and form persistent studying spirit”.For a long period,secondary vocational school students' difficulties in learning math attributed to many factors,such as no good learning habits,more time on professional courses,and so on.Thus how to arouse their math learning interest develops into an important task.But in fact at present there are few to explore students' interest from the perspective of emotion except those with focuses on either students' basis or learning habits.Based on abundant investigations and analysis on math learning situation and emotional theories,this essay try to explore the strategies to improve secondary vocational school students' math learning interest by analyzing the inner relationship between emotion and interest in order to promote math teaching qualities.The first chapter is introduction,including the background,significance,aim and methods of the research.The second chapter is literature review and theoretical basis.The former summarizes the current domestic research status of mathematics learning interest while the latter introduces the theoretical basis for the major concepts involved in the study.The third chapter is the investigations and analysis of secondary vocational art students' math learning interest.Through questionnaires,this essay tries to find out the reasons of influencing learning interest by analyzing the factors,including teacher-student relationship,the reasons of students,math itself,teachers,the emotional part and so on.The fourth chapter is countermeasures to cultivate secondary vocational art students' interest in learning math.The fifth chapter is teaching case design.It shows how to improve students' math learning interest by combining the practical teaching contents and teaching process.The last chapter is a summary about the research and the prospects.
