With the continuous promotion of national mental health education,the educational course of psychological health is becoming more and more popular in primary schools in many large and medium-sized city,but in primary schools of small towns,the educational course of psychological health is not ideally opened.Only by fully understanding the importance of mental health education curriculum in primary school in small town,the setting up,the reform and development of mental health education curriculum can be promoted.This paper will take Pingshan Town as an example,through the use of literature,questionnaire and interview,investigating the setting up and implementation status of mental health education in primary school in the town,to find out the existing problems and advantages,analyzing and providing relevant suggestions for setting up and implementing the mental health course in small town primary school psychological education.This thesis contains six parts:The first part is introduction.This part mainly introduces the problem and research significance,the domestic and foreign related researches,the research ideas and the methods,and the innovation points.The second part introduces some problems related to the curriculum of mental health education in primary schools,including the definition of the two core concepts of mental health and mental health education and the summarizations of the standard of primary mental health and the pupils' mental health education curriculum objectives;and the presentation of the main contents of the course of mental health education in primary school,according to the relevant contents enacted by China's Ministry of Education.The third part presents the investigation and analysis the present teaching situation of mental health education courses in primary schools in Pingshan.Through questionnaires and interviews,the investigation and analysis are divided into the following five aspects.(1)the current situation of curriculum setting;(2)the contents of the courses and the situation of the teaching material using;(3)the teachers' present condition;(4)situation of mastering students' psychological;(5)mental health education situation in school.The existing problems and advantages are also analyzed from these five aspects.Finally,the reasons of the present situation of the curriculum are analyzed from three aspects: school factors,social factors and parents' factors.The fourth part are the suggestions to improve the psychological health education curriculum in small town primary schools.According to the problems found in the survey,suggestions are divided in three aspects: one is to pay more attention to the mental health education curriculum,including perfecting the regulations,and paying attention to the development of mental health education curriculum;scientifically orientating the mental health education curriculum in primary school;and realizing the important role of mental health education curriculum in primary school.Two is to pay attention to the construction of teaching staff,respectively from strengthening the training of part-time and full-time teachers and the bringing in teacher resources from outside.Three is to choose appropriate and effective course contents and teaching methods,suggestions given mainly from how to the choose the appropriate course content and effective teaching methods.The fifth part is the psychological characteristics of primary school students and curriculum design in small town.This part includes concrete methods of how to set up psychological health education course in primary school,which can be referenced by part-time and full-time teachers.Courses are mainly designed from primary school's lower grade,middle grade,high grade three stages,including the summarizations of the main psychological characteristics of the students and the presentation of relevant curriculum design and some complete course cases.The sixth part is the conclusion,summarizing the results of this study and pointing out the future research direction.
