Classic works or adapted versions often appear in students' textbooks and their original versions are often hidden after the texts.This kind of phenomenon is unavoidable and needs to be confronted with in reading teaching.This dissertation illustrates the origin,role and significance of adapted classic works by literature research method,case analysis method,statistical analysis method and action research method,which are mainly based on the case of adapted texts from Primary School Chinese Textbooks(Jiangsu Educational Press Version).This paper systematically studies the form,type and scale of adapted works and focuses on the more valued issue of reading teaching.The researcher also analyzes the following problems in teaching,namely only focusing on text,original version first or not good balance between original and adapted version.The researcher puts forward to the view that reading teaching of adapted works should rebuild the value of original,adapted and hypertext version.The teaching design should follow the principles of balancing,connecting and comparing and its teaching strategies include comprehensive consideration in setting teaching goals,careful selection and discard in contents,fourfold dialogue in applying methods. |
