Lao She's Works And Researches In Chinese Textbooks

In the process of mordern Chinese literature teaching,Lao She is the second influential writer after Lu Xun. Many of Lao She's works have been selected as Chinese teaching text.Therefore, studying the works of Lao She in Chinese textbooks in the past eighty years can not only better follow the developing track of Chinese teaching,but also help to fully understand Lao She himself and his works so as to contemplate today's education and put forward appropriate suggestions.The thesis consists of three parts.The first part gives a brief account of Lao She's works,which have been selected as mordern Chinese text. These works cover four different historical periods.The second part analyzes the fundamental causes why LaoShe's works in different times are chosen to be Chinese texts. The spirit of the times, textbook editors' compilation intention and textbooks'classic all contribute to the causes.The third part generalizes the common bases on which Lao She's works can be selected into Chinese teaching textbooks,and at the same time points out the comparative shortcomings of today's Chinese textbooks,and discuss the possibilites of improving as well as strategies of improving.
