High school physical education has always been a hot topic in the field of physical education. However, the number of high school physical education is still a continuation of the traditional model of physical teaching, in the high school physical education curriculum mainly through setting some running, basketball, badminton, football, martial arts and other single project, lack of comprehensive and cluster characteristics. Although these single sports project can also promote the development of physical and mental health of students in a certain extent, but due to the teaching target is macro and integration, modular layout is not obvious that the overall framework of the teaching lacks pertinence, the physical quality of the students did not achieve the desired effect of the global. Practice shows that the traditional high school sports teaching mode has not been in accordance with the pace of educational reform in today's times, but also not conducive to the construction of a high school student's overall physical quality.This paper mainly explores the promotion of the physical and mental health of senior high school students in the current high school physical education teaching.This paper focuses on the application of module teaching in the middle school sports teaching, first of all, at home and abroad about the sports teaching theories and research results, reviews, and, Lianjiang county, Fuzhou City, the first high school sports module teaching case of detailed survey and in-depth analysis. Finally, according to the module teaching in middle school sports teaching application of some shortages and problems proposed corresponding suggestions.The results show that the modular teaching mode can improve the physical classroom teaching to improve senior high school students' awareness of autonomous learning, and promote students to develop exercise every day, and lifelong exercise sports consciousness and behavior.The main conclusions are as follows:1 Sports module teaching in Lianjiang, one of the cases, the development of effective and practical significance.2 case analysis showed that the differences between teachers and students,3 in Lianjiang, one of the cases, the physical education module teaching still has a large room for improvement.
