Research On Application Of Witkey Websites In Secondary Vocational Computer Teaching

With the support of national policy that develop the vocational education, this thesis advocates to apply the Web-based Witkey resources in the secondary vocational computer professional teaching, in order to solve the problems in the teaching such as data processing. The research focuses mainly on its application, the feasibility and the effectiveness, which leads to a practicable teaching scheme, so as to promote the computer professional teaching reform in secondary vocational education.The study intends to establish its theoretical ground on the basis of constructivism and Dewey's thought of "learning from doing" and the like. It begins with the introduction of the "Witkey mode". And it discusses the practical significance of applying the witkey websites in the secondary vocational computer professional teaching, from the perspectives of the teaching practice, the cultivation to students and the social development. Based on the above, the thesis introduces the application of witkey websites in computer teaching, and the design process of course selections, data processing, teaching mode and evaluation system as well. The author has established a concrete implementation plan which has been successfully applied in teaching for a semester.Analyzing the data obtained through daily observation and questionnaires, the author draws the conclusion that the application Witkey websites in the secondary vocational computer professional teaching indeed is quite efficient to promote the student's learning interest, mutually exchanges and their professional level, and also to train their self-educated ability, and their awareness of employment.
