The problem on mathematical key competencies,which is an essential part in the modern education,is a hot topic in mathematics education research in recent yeas.Based on the key competencies,students can use their mathematical knowledge in social and personal life.Hence,to improve student's mathematical key competencies is a necessary goals in the present education.In order to better implement the key competencies and study the key competencies embodied in the East Asian textbook based on Confucian cultural,provide useful references for cultivating the key competencies.Take the key competencies as the research entry point,we select mainland China,Chinese Taipei and Singapore high school mathematics curriculum and textbook as the object of study,using literature,comparative analysis and other method,the study content for the comparison of three high school curriculum and textbook function part of the key competencies related.The results show that,firstly,mainland China on the six key competencies are more balanced from the overall requirements of the curriculum,but Chinese Taipei have large fluctuations,showing a u-shaped fonts;there are differences in the requirements of the six key competencies in Singapore,and they pay more attention to mathematical operations;the data analysis of the key competencies of the curriculum requirements are the least proportion for three regions.Secondly,from the teaching point of view,the function part of the order of difficulty should be Singapore,mainland China and Chinese Taipei.Thirdly,The concept of function in key competencies reflects the abstract ability,logical inference,calculation and analogue image,People's Education Press A Edition has an advantage in the abstract ability,but the analogue image hasn't well represented in People's Education Press A Edition;the graphics transformation of function mainly contains the analogue image and logical inference,there are some shortcomings in the arrangement of People's Education Press A Edition,which is not included in the main content.According to the research conclusion,the corresponding suggestions are put forward:Firstly,we should pay attention to the cultivation of data analysis literacy and improve the requirement of data analysis.Secondly,the concept of the function in the arrangement of methodology of number-shape combination and so on into the better.Thirdly,put the function ofgraphics into the textbook,to strengthen the graphics calculator,etc.
