With the rapid development of modern information science and technology, it not only has a great influence on students' learning, but also impacts on the classroom teaching. Therefore, the teachers are faced with great challenges. And the performance of multimedia technology which combines the charts with the words and the sounds has great attraction for the students of junior middle school, will provide a new opportunity to promote effective classroom teaching.This research summarizes and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the application of multimedia technology in teaching, through questionnaire survey, in understanding the view of the students in this school of application of multimedia technology in teaching, and puts forward the effective countermeasures of application of multimedia technology in the chemical teaching of junior middle school. These countermeasures would mainly optimize the reflection of the teacher's spirits, looking for the right breakthrough point, using the simulation methods, paying attention to the characteristics of students, emphasizing the interactivity, etc. Through the use of the optimization strategy in the practice teaching, and using the experimental class and the comparative class, the research that lasts for a semester's tracking and testing the feasibility and practicality of the application of multimedia technology teaching effective countermeasures is carried out. A first-hand information obtained through the comparison and analysis of class example to students' learning attitude, classroom response, ability to learn and study result. This research aims to give full play to the advantages of multimedia technology, arouse the enthusiasm of students in learning, develop their initiative and creativity, thereby improving the effectiveness of the chemistry teaching in junior middle school.
