Teaching philosophy is a kind of fundamental, instructional and ideal teaching idea. Some teaching philosophy with dominant role often hides behind the teachers' teaching behavior, so the innovation of teaching philosophy is a breakthrough in teaching reform. Caring teaching is not only a kind of teaching philosophy, but also the teaching practice under the guidance of this philosophy, with the basic meaning of making the teaching full of care. This kind of care refers to caring for students in the spiritual level, as well as from the height of life, thus it has the feeling of ultimate care.The teaching of the secondary vocational school turning into caring teaching has vivid practical significance. At present, some common problems exist in the secondary vocational school, such as the withered learning motivation, the deviated learning behavior, the low learning achievement level, the obsolete teaching philosophy of the teachers, etc. All of the above requires timely transformation and innovation on teaching philosophy in secondary vocational school. During the teaching practice of art curriculum in major of computer graphic design at Changde Vocational Secondary School for Finance and Economics, the author has taken the initiative to develop the caring teaching reform. The specific methods include building a bridge of spiritual communication between teachers and students, valuing the vertical comparison, giving affirmation timely, providing display platform, reforming the mode of awards, creating shared learning space, etc. After the preliminary contrast test, it is found that the caring teaching has positive impacts on students, which reflects the students' emotion, value, attitude, method, learning performance, skill level, etc. Meanwhile, the essential features of some aspects in caring teaching have been concluded, that is, returning to the present emotional care, attaching importance to the students' academic development, realizing the association and cooperation between teachers and students, stimulating the students' intrinsic motivation, etc. In addition, the philosophy and methods of caring teaching can achieve publicity and sharing through exhibition, open class, network platform, etc.Caring teaching is not an isolated teaching theory, but closely related to many other teaching theories, such as caring ethics, student-based education theory, developmental teaching evaluation theory, non directive teaching mode and so on. All of the above theories can explain caring teaching to some degree. Of course, the practical value of caring teaching can also be expected, for example, improving the teachers' teaching behavior, changing the students' learning behavior, creating a harmonious teacher-student relationship, cultivating students' good psychological quality and so on. Caring teaching still requires in-depth theoretical study and a more diversified practical exploration.
