Firstly, teacher-student relationship is a kind of relationship between people, which possesses the general characteristics of interpersonal relations, but it is also produced in the process of teaching. The particularities of teaching process in turn determines the teacher-student relationship is different from the ordinary relationships, it has its own uniqueness. In the education and teaching activities, teachers and students are the two very important subjects. Lots of educational activities in schools are commenced and completed in the teacher-student relationship. Sometimes it can even determine the processes and effects of education and teaching. This is the vital reason why teacher-student relationship has always become an educational hotspot in the field of education. However, in reality, the relationship between teachers and students in schools has been emerging tension,opposition,apathy, and the conflict situation has not been well controlled. Under the initiative of diverse educational background and the presentation of an open situation of teacher-student relationship, in order to effectively improve the situation of the teacher-student relationship. This paper will explore the relationship between teacher and student in depth in the educational field from the perspective of "care" on the basis of the globalization of education "learn to care ". And eventually propose some strategies and suggestions for building a type of the caring relationship between teacher and student.This thesis consists of five parts, which are listed as follows.Introduction Part I:The study focuses on three topics reason, then the purposes and significance of the research conducted in this thesis will be explained. And analyze the authoritarian, democratic and laissez-faire type of three typical type of teacher-student relationship model. Then summarize the status of research on the caring teahcer-student relationship for domestic and international researches,and on this basis,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of existing research and its potential innovations.Part I:This part analyzes the basic meaning of the caring relationship between teacher and student, its elements, nature and transcendence. Firstly, the word "care"has been defined from the perspective of a multi-disciplinary to strengthen the realization of it. Secondly, I explain the meaning of the caring relationship between teacher and student and the constituent elements. This issue are discussed separately from the characteristics of the awareness of teacher and student.Besides, summarize the nature of five aspects of the caring relationship between teacher and student,they are effective relation, non-utilitarian, openness, context, continuity, which is conducive to further understand and grasp the meaning of it.Part Ⅱ:This part highlights the performance and reasons of lack of care about the reality of teacher-student relationship. For example, there is a one-way relationship between teachers and students, utilitarian and alienation and so on. Lastly, analyzes the main causes of deficiency of care between teachers and students.Part Ⅲ:This part analyzes rationality and sense of construction of the caring relationship between teacher and student.It has special significance which is listed as follows.Firstly, it has a timeless nature of ethical values;Secondly, it is conducive to the formation of students’ care quality. Thirdly, it is beneficial to promote students’ healthy growth; Fourthly, it is helpful for the the realization of teachers’ and students’ happiness.Part Ⅳ:This part proposes the corresponding strategies to build the caring relationship between teacher and student. I elaborate strategies mainly from four aspects to build the type of teacher-student relationship. Firstly, I discuss the systematical conditions conducive to create the caring relationship between teacher and student, mainly from the school educational goals, curriculum, teaching evaluation to achieve.Then propose the required the campus culture to construct the caring relationship. Finally, a detailed discussion of the construction of care type of teacher-student relationship between teachers and students were required.
