The era of knowledge economy has come,the education level is more and more able to represent the economic strength of a country,the pattern of internationalization of higher education has emerged,the importance of higher education level.At the same time,the development of higher education and economic development of mutual restraint,mutual promotion,the needs of the development of higher education human resources,material resources and financial resources are needed in economy as a guarantee,at the same time,the economic development needs of higher education to cultivate more high-quality talents.Since 1999,college enrollment,higher education in China has made rapid development,the number and scale of colleges and universities continue to expand,but the distribution of higher education resources space disequilibrium problem also gradually emerged in the process of rapid development.Higher education as a kind of public goods and property resources,with public welfare and strong social development,promoting the equity of higher education is an important part of the higher education policy in China,so the analysis of the provinces in our country,higher education resources distribution between the spatial correlation effects for exploring the development situation of regional higher education in China the provision of advice is particularly important for the sustainable development of higher education.In this paper,the provincial administrative region(hereinafter referred to as the "provincial")the status of higher education as the object,based on the spatial perspective,combined with the traditional index,coefficient of variation and exploratory spatial data analysis method(ESDA)analysis of regional differences in the spatial distribution of higher education.The input index from three dimensions of education scale index,quality index,funding a total of eight representative three indicators,using the method of extreme value normalization index dimensionless,then synthesis,establish a new system of comprehensive evaluation index of higher education.Clustering analysis by SPSS22.0,and the results from the relevant test and local spatial autocorrelation test for the global space,continue to explore the higher education resources spatial distribution similarity,put forward suggestions to find higher education resources distribution problems,in order to find out the differences of higher education resources in China in the spatial distribution and characteristics.This article consists of four parts.The first part includes the first chapter and the second chapter introduces the background and significance of the research,reviews the research literature on measurement methods of regional higher education and space,determine the research content,research methods,sorting out the research ideas,and the provincial,higher education,higher education and regional spatial agglomeration and related concepts,and introduces the selection index synthesis method;the second part is the third chapter,the three aspects of the research were put into analysis the current development of China's higher education of province from the scale of education,teachers,funds,mainly east Midwest perspective;the third part of the discrete degree of spatial analysis by the coefficient of variation,and then similarity analysis by SPSS clustering analysis,finally,analysis of China's provincial scale of Higher Education under the comprehensive development of water using ESDA method Finally,in view of the spatial distribution characteristics of China's higher education,the development of the economy,policy promotion,education cooperation and other aspects,trying to put forward some suggestions for reference.The results show that the development of provincial higher education in China has significant global and local spatial autocorrelation,agglomeration phenomenon is obvious,but its spatial structure is not very reasonable,the low level accounted for relatively large proportion of regional agglomeration.The regional distribution of higher education resources in China from the overall view is gradually decreasing trend from east to west,but the distribution of higher education resources are also Eastern higher education resources less provinces,higher education resources distribution in western provinces also have less higher education resources,and in recent years,the higher education underdeveloped pattern never changed.In the choice of indicators,this thesis takes the three dimensions of representative indicators,compared to only a single dimension or two dimensions,cross selection index comprehensive analysis from three dimensions,effectively localize the problem to the details of the level,to be able to find the problem better,and to solve the problem,really divide and analysis.
