With the adjustment of economic structure and the deepening of industrial transformation,Base on the purpose of "made in China" in 2025,skilled talents will be in high demand in our society.Modern education,especially higher education is more weighted towards theory and academic materials.There should be a way to train applied talents and to improve the system of vocational education.It also will be based on secondary vocational education and high vocational education and it will gradually turn into application-oriented university and even the professional master education,as a result,solving the contradiction between the short supply in skilled talents and the employment of graduates.Under this social background,Nanjing Audit University School of E-Audit according to the Ministry of education,began to merge with Yingtian Vocational and Technical College,so Yingtian school began the transition from Vocational and Technical College to the application-oriented universities.How to connect all kinds of educational resources has become a great challenge,especially the teacher resources,because "what kind of students to cultivate,the first to have what kind of teacher." Therefore,whether there is a teacher team with solid theoretical knowledge and practical ability becomes the key to the success of transformation to Application-oriented Undergraduate.So it is very important to establish a set of evaluation system which is suitable for the quality and ability of teachers in Application-oriented Universities.Under this background,this paper makes a research on the "KPI" assessment of Yingtian College in the transformation process of the Application-oriented Universities.This paper first investigates the relevant concept and the theory and clears the applicability of KPI performance appraisal for teachers in Application-oriented Universities,then analyzes the current situation of "KPI" performance appraisal in the context of the transition from the college to the Application-oriented Undergraduate Colleges and universities.Under the requirements of the " transformation and upgrading ",Yingtian College,through the overall idea of "the top-level design,classification guidance,step by step,multidimensional assessment",applied the KPI performance evaluation in the teacher performance appraisal,however,there was some problems.In order to solve these problems,this paper attempts to improve the KPI performance for the Yingtian College to transform to Application-oriented Universities.The first is to establish and improve the principles of KPI performance appraisal;Then through the extraction of indicators,the determination of the weight,as well as the standardization of index scores,improve the existing performance appraisal system;Finally,we should strengthen the management of performance appraisal.
