Research On The Construction Of Professional Ethics Of New Professional Farmers In The Process Of Farmer Professionalization

With the upgrading of the traditional agricultural industry,farmers'professionalization has become an inevitable trend of the development of agricultural modernization."The 13th Five-Year Plan on Development of National New Professional Farmers,Training" put forward that high-quality teams of agricultural producer and operator should be trained,which represents that the title of "farmer" has come back from the identity to the professional concept.The professional ethics level of farmer,as an important standard to measure the process of farmer's professionalization,is not only the key to improve farmers' occupation moral quality,but a powerful guarantee for the quality safety of modern agricultural products as well as the proper meaning of building moderately prosperous society.This paper takes the professional ethics construction of the new professional farmers as the research object,and takes the development process of farmers' professionalization as clues.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the farmers,occupation policy the relevant literature of the farmers' occupation morality at home and abroad,the author expounds the characteristics of new occupation farmers,focuses on the description of the new features and basic concept of farmers'occupation morality and the significance of strengthening construction of professional ethics of farmers' to the farmers'professionalization.In order to get a deeper understanding of farmers' perception in their professional ethics and the effect of the professional ethics education activities,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1558 new professional farmers in Fujian Province.After summarizing the basic situation and existing problems of farmers' professional ethics,the author objectively analyzes the main reasons of the problems of farmers'professional ethics construction.And on this basis,feasible suggestions to promote the construction of farmers' professional ethics were put forward.The study found that in the process of farmers' professionalization,the cultural level of majority professional farmers is in high school and above,and they have come to realize the importance of professional ethics.Although there are some differences in the cognition of farmers with different educational levels,they are eager to improve their professional ethics.Overall,the social responsibility and environmental protection consciousness of professional farmers are generally strong,while their awareness in advocating science and legal rights is relatively weak.This is caused by the lack of professional ethics education,imperfect legal system,lack of positive publicity and guidance as well as the limitations of traditional thinking.Based on the theory of rural community education,the idea of lifelong education and Kohlberg's theory of moral cognitive development,the paper establishes the farmers' education system and gives some suggestions including to set up a model of farmers' professional ethics through the positive publicity of farmers' example,to clear their own professional ethics through negative warning to the moral behavior,to carry out a variety of educational activities to strengthen the rural spiritual civilization construction and improve the overall quality of farmers,and,to promote the construction of the legal system related to the professional ethics of farmers for forming an effective constraint and joint guarantee for social supervision so as to help farmers consciously internalize the professional ethics in the heart and externalized in behavior.
