Geographical concept is an important part of geographical knowledge and one of the basic task in the geography teaching.Using abundant curriculum resources to optimize the geographical concept teaching which is corresponding to the requirements of the geography curriculum standard.It can help students promote from perceptual knowledge to rational knowledge.Students can also cultivate their abilities of logical thinking through analysis,comprehension,comparison,induction,abstract and summarization.This paper analyzes the education background of geography concept.The research object is geographical concept teaching.The concept are the role and application mode of curriculum resources in geography teaching and the function and application mode of electronic whiteboard.Research contents is Shaping the Terrain from textbooks of four versions.The objects of the study are 13 video and10 teaching design.The paper sorts all geographic concepts of this chapter with the method of literature research;It summarizes the advantages and deficiencies of the geographical concept teaching with the method of case analysis and statistical analysis.It also design and develop 18 curriculum resources of geography concept.The paper concludes some research conclusions as follows.Firstly,the writer put forward the effective implementation strategy of how to design and develop geography curriculum resources of concept based on electronic whiteboard: clear concept type,preset goals,investigate and analyze students' pre-concept,process and integrate materials,choose the way of thinking,build concept map,design migration and method to use,develop corresponding whiteboard courseware.Secondly,curriculum resources is one of the essential elements of the geographical concept teaching,which play a role to prompt study: provide real cases,trigger cognitive conflict;Hint concept features,guide the direction of change;Provide positive and negative cases,present the essence of the concept;Provide various types,strengthening the concept;Know cases,understand the definition;Know the basic forms,realize ssimilation of the concept;Formthe contrast to the reference,use concept;apply the concept,realize the goal;memorize the typical examples,set up concept network;Exam the examples,evaluate concept network.Finally,the study found that the electronic whiteboard should be used in the geographical concept teaching to its interactive methods the technical characteristics of effectiveness.The functions of the map should be advanced;the functions of definition should be underlined;The functions of case should be accurated;The concept network structure should have more levels;The concept application should be open and autonomatic.
