In new Chinese curriculum standard of high school,the ancient poetry and literature reading has always been the key content of Chinese teaching and college entrance examination,so the elective textbook of "Ancient Chinese poetry prose appreciation" has become an important textbook for a high school student.As we all know,the elective courses have great flexibility,autonomy and comprehensiveness,besides,there is a certain distance between the ancient poetry and real life,which results in the consequence that content and teaching methods of the elective textbooks of ancient poetry dosen't form a complete system.And the ancient poetry dose not receive the attention that they are supposed to have,especially under the pressure of the college entrance examination.what's more,the requirements on the teaching speed of different schools are different,which sets a barrier for the teaching of elective textbook "Ancient Chinese poetry prose appreciation" in virtually.The author investigates some teachers of Chinese teaching group and some high school students in Ningling senior high school.Through analys ing the data of the survey,the author finds some problems like most students can not take the elective course correctly?the style of the ancient poems is low and the motivation is utilitarian.Some teachers overvalue exam outline,ignore the value of elective textbooks?use traditional teaching method and lack reasonable teaching strategy.It can be seen that the teaching and learning situation of high school Chinese elective courses and "appreciation of ancient Chinese poetry prose" are not optimistic.The teacher's educational concept and teaching mode are the key factors that affect students' learning.In the face of the current situations about the elective textbook "Ancient Chinese poetry prose appreciation like the teaching ours are too short,the content contains too much and the knowledge points are trivial,the teacher should try to find a set of new teaching strategy.First,integrate teaching materials and make it thematic;Start with the whole,from the unit;then cross the units,cross the text in order to integrate teaching materials around the theme;integrate internal and external around the teaching materials,." Second,make the selective choice about the text.Then,teachers should try to tap the interest of the ancient poem,use reading to promote teaching,invigorate the elective text classroom teaching,transform "knowledge-oriented" to "problem-oriented",return to life experience,create an aesthetic atmosphere and increase students' class participation.Finally,compare the traditional teaching mode and the new teaching strategies,and check the influence of the new teaching strategies on the students and teachers.Students' ability of appreciating ancient poetry depends on the teacher's teaching model.But some teachers use traditional model to teach for a long time,the understanding about the elective materials and innovative modern teaching model is not deep enough.Therefore,there is still much room for study in practice research,especially in the specific classroom teaching strategies.
