Investigation And Research On The Implementation Of Optional Textbooks Of "Appreciation Of Ancient Chinese Poetry And Prose" In Jinnan District

"Appreciation of Ancient Chinese Poetry and Prose" is an optional course for students in Senior Grade Two since the new curriculum reform in Tianjin in 2006.Chinese teachers in Several senior high schools in Jinnan District have accumulated some experience in the process of the set of the course and teaching,and have made some progress not only in stimulating students' interest in learning ancient excellent poetry and prose but also broadening their reading horizons as well as improving their aesthetic appreciation ability.But there are also some problems,such as inaccurate orientation of optional courses,the rigid thinking of teachers,the compulsory of optional courses,the wrong direction of teaching evaluation,the imperfect teaching material system,etc.By investigating the current situation of the optional course offered and implemented in five high schools in Jinnan District,I finds out and summarizes the key problems in the course implementation,explores the constraints,and puts forward some improvement strategies based on my own teaching practice.The original unit settings of the textbooks are arranged according to the method of literary appreciation.It is difficult to complete the teaching within the prescribed class hours.Based on the specific learning conditions and practical teaching experience,the research optimizes the original topic sequence,reorganizes the topic according to the learning task,highlights the initiative and effectiveness of the topic learning task,makes the optional courses fully meet the students' pursuit of language literacy in different development directions and levels,and also makes the students' language learning more autonomous and individualized.Lessons,teaching suggestions and reflections are designed to enhance the use of textbooks and provide useful practical reference for the implementation of the optional courses of "Appreciation of Ancient Chinese Poetry and Prose" and other optional courses in Jinnan District in the future.
