Research On Problems And Countermeasures In Post Practice Of Hotel Service & Management Major Of Secondary Vocational School

Post Practice is an important part of teaching in Hotel Service & Management major of secondary vocational school, and it is one of the main forms of practice teaching. Students can accumulate plenty of experiences for guest service through post practice, which lays a solid foundation for future employment.Secondary vocational school and its teacher are mostly responsible for management and education during students'post practice period. How to enhance management and help students live through the period smoothly become important problems which cannot be ignored for Hotel Service & Management major of secondary vocational school. This thesis aims at students'different physical and mental characteristics in prophase, metaphase and anaphase of post practice of secondary vocational school, and it divides the whole period into practice preparatory stage, practice running-in stage, practice mature stage and practice epilogue impetuous stage in terms of different positions requirements in different phases. According to the four stages, this thesis had separately carried on the specific analysis from students and problems in practice management and analyzed the reasons in aspects of student, family and school. Among the reasons, for systems, the far from prefect management system, assess system and students management system are lack of implementation; for approaches, the management of teacher is simplified and system of students self-management is not well organized; for contents, the lack of mental health education and law education. Among these reasons, students are lacking of preparation for thought, not adapting to the change of the role, not dealing well with relationship; for family, the influence of parents'quality and their negative influence, spoiling, and the low expected value; for school, the limitation of concept of practice management, lagging management, deviation of practice-management and lack of qualified teachers.On this basis, it had groped for the countermeasures of problems for students in Hotel Service & Management major of secondary vocational school in post practice. It mainly involves the followings: to change the concept, establish human centered and enhance students'professional consciousness; solve the problems in each stage in view of vocational school students'characteristics; to change the model of practice management and enhance the practice assess; to improve the construction of qualified teachers. It possibly strives for strengthening the practice management of Hotel Service & Management major of secondary vocational school, promotes practice teaching of secondary vocational school which can develop healthily and orderly and achieving the targets of enhancing students professional consciousness, creative and enterprise Abilities.
