This research is a qualitative research which is based on a widely collection and analysis of documents.This research starts from double degree`s exist,development and current situation in China,focus on problems the double degree education are facing now,analyzes factors impeding the development of Chinese double degree courses education,and finally provide some suggestions for its innovation.Setting the double degree courses in Chinese universities is meaningful for both students,colleges and the society.Double degree courses are not the same as the second degree courses or a project hold by a Chinese university and an university overseas,and we can not treat them as main and minor courses easily.Finding the key characters of the double degree courses accurately is helpful for providing a better education service which meets the requirements well.At first,few universities in China set the double degree courses,they run the courses all by themselves,in some traditional subjects.Now lots of Chinese universities have set the double degree courses,they work together,provide courses for students in other schools,and try to set courses in some new subjects.According to the time,there are three periods to develop the double degree courses education in China: the embryo period(1980-1990);the developing period(1990-2000);the innovating period(after 2000),and there are differences in each period.There are three difficulties in the double degree education now: poor curriculum resource,bad teaching management,and difficulties in students` job hunting.Systemic factors(include the national academic degree system and the credit system),policy factors(include the national policy and local policy),the idea and experience factors may impede the development of double degree education.To innovate the double degree courses education in China,we can take following measures: changing the national academic degree system into school academic degree system,completing the credit system,making relative policies,bringing in the MOOC and improving administration in colleges.
