After the founding of new China,basic education in China has entered a new historical period.How to make history education adapt to the needs of the socialist new China,is a difficult problem in front of the general education workers and History.“History teaching” is published in this context.Not only dose it include discussion about the theory of history teaching method,but also involve the summary of middle school history teaching experience.It is also a window,which make us see the basic characteristics and evolution of Chinese history teaching method in the past ten years before the founding of the People's Republic of China.This article is based on the“history teaching” as a perspective,and investigate the discussion on the history teaching method from 1951 to 1965,so that we can assess the gains and losses and get useful inspiration from it.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part: The author summed up history teaching from1951 to 1965,and “history teaching”founded.The author is divided into two periods: studying the changes and development of teaching materials,teaching syllabus,teaching methods and so on.It is a periodical-“history teaching”which is founded for the better development of history teaching.Though findingits origin,exploring its purpose,summing up its rules,we can provide experience and inspiration for today's secondary school history teaching reform.The second part and the third part discusses the article about the history teaching method of middle school in the period of 1951 to 1965,and Sums up and sorts out the popular middle school history teaching methods.In the two parts,author analyzes theory and practice of the intuitive teaching,heuristic teaching under the principle of “less and fine”,through the class education practice teaching,discussion teaching method and questioning teaching method and other diversified teaching method.Basing on above summary,author wants to provide some reference and experience inspiration for today's secondary school history teaching methods.The fourth part:Exploring the gains and losses of the history teaching method of middle school and the inspiration to the reform of history teaching.Summed up the fifteen years(1951-1965)of secondary school history teaching,there are gains and losses,although existing the shadow of Soviet education,but also for our current history teaching provides a profound inspiration:to combine their own reality,Customer service blindness,based on the current educational developmentand learning situation,to take effective teaching method of history,so that the concept of the new curriculum reform and complement each other.
