Research And Survey Of Current Situation Of Teaching Chinese Character In Bintang Mulia Christian High School Bandung Of Indonesia

With the rapid development of China, many people think that learning Chinese is as important as learning English, so now more and more people learn Chinese, Indonesia is no exception. In recent years,many schools in Indonesia have begun to pay attention to foreign language teaching, such as: English, Japanese, Chinese and so on. Some Indonesian schools have made Chinese the second most important foreign language elective course.The subjects of this paper are the high school students of the Bintang Mulia Christian High School in Bandung, Indonesia, and interviewed the high school Chinese teachers. The main survey is current situation of teaching Chinese character in Bintang Mulia Christian High School Bandung of Indonesia, including how students learn Chinese characters, what difficulties are encountered, and how teachers teach Chinese characters.Through the survey, the author found: First, Bintang Mulia Christian High School students are not interested in writing. In the process of learning Chinese, there are many people do not want to write Chinese characters, but also too lazy to write. There are 35% of students think that Chinese characters are very interesting,so they like to write Chinese characters; Second, through the Chinese characters to write the questionnaire, also found that many students do not pay attention to Chinese characters stroke, not follow the rule to write Chinese characters, in the strokes and components are often wrong; Third, Bintang Mulia Christian High School teachers in teaching students not enough pay attention to writing Chinese characters.In addition to survey and interview high school students and teachers, The author also give some idea for school, teachers and students to make some written suggestions for the teaching of Chinese characters. Hope that through the investigation and research, the author can give the Bintang Mulia Christian High School teachers to provide more targeted man teaching methods, students can learn better ways to learn Chinese characters.
