Practical Exploration Into The Social Work Intervention To The Anxiety Of Impoverished College Students' Employment

Chinese underprivileged college graduates are now facing a serious situation which arises form the sluggish job market,slow rate of the improvement of impoverished family,incomplete school employment mechanism and the deficient of ability of the poor student.Hence,anxiety which caused by employment becomes a significant factor that effects the impoverished college students.This paper was guided by theories of social learning theory,group interaction theory,by way of volunteer mentors to help group members get knowledge of employment market,enhance employment ability,rebuild personal recognition,finally to ease their employment anxiety status though double support of social workers and volunteer mentors model.This paper set poor college graduates as the research subject,from the perspective of social work to explore the effective measures in solving the anxiety problem of impoverished college students.The author chooses H university in G city as the investigation spot,uses the professional research method to comprehend the employment anxiety situation of the impoverished students in H university.After analyzing the employment features of the poor students who have filled in the questionnaires and their employment ability,according to the investigation result,the writer designed 7 group activities,which aims to help group members grasp job-hunting skills,improve personal ability,increase employment confidence.While finishing the group activity,serves objects evaluate the activity though the questionnaires.Based on the investigation and evaluation result,the conclusion can be drawn that the group work can relieve the employment anxiety of impoverished college students.On the basis of analyzing the employment anxiety problem of poor students in H university,we try to explore the possibility of case work and generalize this program to other universities in China,so as to establish a long-term mechanism in helping impoverished college graduates relieve their employment anxiety.In this way to help more students who suffer from financial problems back to normal,meanwhile provide valuable theoretical and practical experience for the social policy study.
